Sport close to home, on Lake Como
An amateur sports club with three locations and one idea: getting people moving, in the water and in the studio, at every age.
We were founded to bring sport, health and community to the Alto Lario, the city of Como and Uggiate con Ronago, with a heated pool and studios open to everyone — in the water and in the studio.
A sports club, not just any gym
GiZeta Sport Ssdrl is an amateur sports club (SSD) with limited liability, affiliated with CONI and ACSI. It means that whoever signs up becomes a registered member, with the safeguards and cover provided by organised sport, and that the activity follows the rules of a recognised federation — not those of a generic fitness centre.
There are three locations, all in the province of Como: the indoor pool of Grandola ed Uniti in Alto Lario, and the studios of Uggiate con Ronago, in the Swiss border area, and of Sagnino (Como), in the city of Como.
Who we really are
GiZeta Sport is an amateur sports club (SSD) affiliated with ACSI and recognised by CONI, listed in the Registro Nazionale delle Attività Sportive Dilettantistiche. We are a non-profit organisation: everything we do is at the service of the sporting activity and the people who take part in it.
We are an amateur sports club (SSD) whose purpose is to promote sport and wellbeing for young and old alike: movement as a tool for prevention and inclusion, for all ages — from newborn water confidence to activity for seniors, from expectant mothers to people in rehabilitation.
GiZeta’s numbers, no rounding
People who pick our water and studio classes, season after season.
Half in the pool, half in the studios: from water confidence to yoga, from swimming to dance.
Classes spread across our three locations, in the water and in the studio.

Four things we care about
Small groups
Every course has a limited number of places. It is not an organisational detail: it is what allows the instructor to truly follow every person.
Warm water
The Grandola pool is set to 32 °C; for the baby courses it is raised to 34 °C. A temperature that makes possible activities you could not do in cold water.
Every age
From two-month-old babies in a parent’s arms to gentle fitness for seniors, by way of yoga, pilates and dance: the schedule is designed to meet everyone’s needs.
Recognised sport
GiZeta Sport Ssdrl is an amateur sports club (SSD) affiliated with CONI and ACSI: membership, insurance cover and classification follow the rules of organised sport.
An intimate pool, studios sized for the group
In the water, the Grandola pool is not an Olympic facility, and that is exactly why so many people choose it: a pool heated to 32 °C, a quiet, private setting, with no crowded lanes. For anyone who is afraid of the water or has never swum, it makes the difference between starting and putting it off again. The warm water makes possible courses that are hard to find elsewhere in the area: water confidence, Acquagravidanza, Acquantalgica for the back and joints.
In the studio, you will find the same spirit in the equipped studios of Grandola, Uggiate con Ronago and Sagnino: flooring suited to movement, small groups and a range that goes from pilates to yoga, from total body to dance. Two souls — the water and the studio — with the same care for the person.
