Frequently asked questions
How many times a week should you do acquagym to see results?
+
For real results you need 2–3 acquagym lessons a week of 45–60 minutes. With consistency, muscle tone improves from the very first month. The water supports up to 90% of your body weight, reducing joint stress; a lesson burns around 300–500 calories on average.
What are the benefits of acquagym?
+
Acquagym improves muscle tone, cardiovascular capacity and circulation, with minimal impact on your joints and back thanks to the buoyancy of the water. It also has an anti-stress effect. It suits all ages, including people over 50–60 and anyone getting back into movement after a break.
Does acquagym help you lose weight?
+
Acquagym supports weight loss by burning around 300–500 kcal per lesson, as part of a consistent routine and a balanced diet. It is not a miracle solution: results come with regularity (2–3 times a week) combined with a healthy lifestyle.
What is the difference between acquagym, acquafitness and Acquantalgica?
+
Acquagym and acquafitness are medium-to-high intensity water fitness activities, for tone and cardio. Acquantalgica, by contrast, is gentle work in warmer water (at least 31 °C) designed for the back and joints, aimed at prevention and wellbeing rather than training.
