You can start at any stage of pregnancy: there is no set week to begin. The activity is very gentle and is adapted to the stage you are at.

What are the benefits of swimming and acquagym during pregnancy?

+
Activity in water during pregnancy reduces back pain, swelling and heaviness in the legs and, thanks to buoyancy, eases joint overload. It helps prevent varicose veins and has a relaxing effect on body and mind, encouraging good rest.

Is acquagym safe during pregnancy?

+
Yes: it is a gentle, low-impact activity in warm water at 32 °C. Usually no specific authorisation from your gynaecologist is needed, but towards the end of pregnancy it is wise to check with them before continuing. If you have a high-risk pregnancy or particular conditions, always talk to your doctor.

What if I can no longer continue the course?

+
If during the season a significant issue means you can no longer continue, just talk to the office: together we’ll find the most suitable solution.
