You sign up for the course and start right away: choose the course, reserve your spot and at your first lesson you are already in. Message us on WhatsApp or fill in the contact form and we’ll tell you available spots, schedules and how to complete your registration.

If during the season a significant issue means you can no longer continue, just talk to the office: together we’ll find the most suitable solution.

Yes: everyone enrolled aged 6 and over needs a non-competitive medical certificate. Under the age of 6 it is not required. The competitive certificate, with a stress test, is only needed for those who compete: it is not required for our courses.

At the Grandola pool you have 3 make-up lessons, still valid in the next cycle too — even if in the meantime you are no longer enrolled. In Sagnino and Uggiate con Ronago make-up lessons are reserved for adult courses: 4 make-up lessons to use within the current cycle, or in the next one if you re-enrol. No make-up lessons are provided for children’s courses.

The Grandola ed Uniti pool is kept at 32 °C all year round, a warm temperature that makes even gentle courses such as Acquantalgica pleasant. Only for the courses dedicated to babies, on Wednesday mornings, the water is raised to 34 °C.

Adult courses are open from ages 15–16 and up. For younger ones there are dedicated courses: swimming school and water confidence in the pool, dance and pre-dance in the studios of Uggiate con Ronago and Sagnino.

Swimsuit, swim cap (compulsory), non-slip sandals, a towel or bathrobe. A shower before entering the pool is compulsory. For small children you also need the special disposable swim nappy for the water.

Yes, for hygiene reasons a swim cap is compulsory in the pool, together with a shower before entering. You can buy a silicone swim cap on site.

At GiZeta you pay per lesson: water courses cost 14 € per lesson (15 € for prenatal water fitness), studio ones between 8 and 12 €. On top there is the annual membership fee of 20 €, once per season: it registers and insures you, but does not include the courses. From the 2nd family member there is a 10% discount. Yes, it is the same location: Uggiate-Trevano merged with Ronago to form the municipality of Uggiate con Ronago. The address has not changed — Via Torildo Conconi 2/A — and neither have the courses. If you still search for “Uggiate-Trevano gym” you’ll find us.

Yes: the Uggiate con Ronago location is in the border area and Grandola is close to Lugano and the Ceresio. Cross-border commuters and Swiss and German visitors attend the courses. Write to us to work out together the most suitable option for a short stay.

GiZeta Sport is a Società Sportiva Dilettantistica (SSDRL), a non-profit sports club affiliated with ACSI and recognised by CONI. It runs the heated pool of Grandola ed Uniti and three studios — between Grandola, Uggiate con Ronago and Sagnino (Como) — with activities for adults and children of every age.

The membership fee is 20 € a year, valid for the sports season (1 September – 31 August). It is compulsory in order to attend and includes membership and sports insurance cover. It is separate from the course fee, which is paid per lesson: the fee registers the person, it does not pay for the lessons.

Because GiZeta Sport is a non-profit amateur sports club: the amount paid for the courses is an economic fee required to cover the running and organisation costs of the sporting activity. In everyday language it is the same as the cost of the course — what you pay to take part — and you’ll find it, course by course, on the Prices page.
